The Tide has made a decision to transition away from English language programming in favor of expanding its mission outreach.
Mr. Mpofu, a business man at Sengezane Business Centre in a remote part of south west Zimbabwe is a regular listener to our Ndebele program; ‘Amagugu Evangeli’ (Precious Gospel). He invited four other friends to listen with him, and the group has now grown to eight. He would like to plant a new church there, but feels he needs to deepen his knowledge about God, and has asked us to help him gain some theological training.
Karoi is another remote area in the north eastern part of Zimbabwe. A group of six regular listeners wrote and requested Ndebele Bibles. We sent them Bibles and since then the group has almost doubled. We have connected them with the
Brethren in Christ church in Zimbabwe and hope to see this group grow into a church.
